How long does server setup take?
For in-stock configurations, standard provisioning under 24h on business days. Most orders placed during business hours are live in 4-8 hours. You receive credentials and VPN data for the out-of-band controller by email.
What operating systems can I install?
We have pre-configured ISOs for Ubuntu LTS, Debian, AlmaLinux, RockyLinux, Devuan, FreeBSD, Windows Server 2019/2022, Proxmox VE and VMware ESXi. You can also upload a custom ISO in client area — we mount it on the out-of-band console.
How does iLO/IPMI/IMM/iRMC access over VPN work?
Each client receives credentials for a dedicated VPN that exposes the out-of-band controller (iLO for HP, IPMI for Dell, IMM for IBM, iRMC for Fujitsu). You get power on/off, reboot, watch boot sequence, mount virtual media and BIOS troubleshooting — all without the interface being exposed to the Internet.
What DDoS protection is included?
RTBH (Remotely Triggered Black Hole) with real-time sFlow telemetry. Volumetric attacks are mitigated at the network edge through automatic null-routing of affected destinations. For special requirements (always-on scrubbing), contact us.
How is local peering configured?
The data-center operator has direct peering at local IXPs (DSIX, SBIX, 4IXP) with most Romanian ISPs and CDNs — minimal latency for local traffic. All servers get a 1 Gbps port included, upgradeable to 10 Gbps through Intel X710-DA NIC at no extra port cost.
How is network redundancy configured?
Two 1/10 Gbit/s ports in Active-Active Virtual Port Channel (vPC) to Cisco Nexus switches with cut-through switching at nanosecond latency. Transparent failover — losing one upstream doesn't interrupt traffic.
Can I upgrade RAM, storage or IPs?
Adding IPv4/IPv6 is hot-path (no downtime). RAM, storage or 10 GbE NIC upgrades require a planned 15-30 minute downtime window. Maximum RAM limit is model-specific (192 GB for DL160 SAS, 288 GB for DL160 SATA, X3650, etc.).
What's the SLA and contract duration?
99.9% uptime guaranteed (redundant A+B power, N+1 cooling, dual-path switching). Contract is monthly, with no minimum period — cancel anytime.
What are your payment terms?
7-day grace period without penalty. If payment is not received within 14 days, service is suspended. Data is kept for 30 days total. Payments are monthly by card or bank transfer.
Is there a money-back guarantee?
Yes — 7-day satisfaction guarantee for new clients on standard configurations. If the service doesn't meet expectations, you get your money back.
How do I migrate data to the new server?
You have root access from day 1. Use rsync, scp, restic, or any migration tool you prefer. For complex migrations (tens of TB or minimal-downtime applications), our team can assist.
What's the difference between Blade and Enterprise (Rack)?
Blades (BL460c/BL490c) run in HP c7000 chassis with Virtual Connect Flex-10 — high density, ideal for virtualization clusters, extended RAM (up to 288 GB). Enterprise servers (1U/2U DL160, C1100, X3650, RX200) have more drive bays and NVMe — ideal for single-server workloads with intensive I/O. Both get local peering included and the same network infrastructure.
